The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the schedule for the much-awaited TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, in association with Lotus 365. The 18th edition of the world’s most popular T20 tournament will kick off on March 22, 2025, with the Final set to be played on May 25, 2025.

This season will feature 74 matches across 13 venues, including 12 double-headers to bring fans a non-stop cricketing extravaganza. Afternoon games will start at 03:30 PM IST, while the evening matches will commence at 07:30 PM IST.

Opening Match: KKR vs RCB at Eden Gardens The excitement will begin when defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 22, 2025. With Lotus 365 Gaming as an official partner, fans can expect an even more thrilling and immersive cricketing experience this season.

First Double-Header on March 23, 2025 The first of the 12 double-headers, brought to you by Lotus 365, will take place on March 23, 2025:

Afternoon Match: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) vs Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Hyderabad. Evening Blockbuster: A massive showdown between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Other Key Fixtures Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will play their first match on March 24, 2025, in Visakhapatnam. Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, will host its first game on March 25, 2025, as Gujarat Titans (GT) take on Punjab Kings (PBKS). Venues & Team Allocations This season, three teams will split their home games across two venues:

Delhi Capitals (DC): Visakhapatnam & Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. Rajasthan Royals (RR): Guwahati (two home games) & Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Punjab Kings (PBKS): New PCA Stadium, New Chandigarh & Dharamsala (three home games). Playoffs & Grand Finale After the league stage, the Playoffs, presented by Lotus 365, will unfold across Hyderabad and Kolkata:

Qualifier 1 & Eliminator: Hyderabad (May 20 & May 21, 2025). Qualifier 2: Kolkata (May 23, 2025).
